Who Am I?
Really, no one of significance.  I currently spend a lot of spare time trying open-source software that I find on Hotscripts and Sourceforge.net, and a few other places. Often, I get an idea, look for a script, and I like the script and it fits the bill, I, next, try to get a domain name registered to obtain a unique spot on the internet. Sometimes, I do it the opposite way by reading or hearing a term or phrase, try to register a domain name, and then I look for a script that does what I think the domain name respresents or implies. I’m not always successful, which is why I have so many parked domains!
For those pesky parked domain names, using Afternic.com to auction off a few to get a few spare bucks.
Between this stuff, I’m a videographer, which I currently combine with this web stuff at work…combining my hobby (hmm, which is which?) with my job. The hobby has, over the past 20 years, swapped positions from video as the hobby while I was a computer consultant. Then, I got a job as a videographer/editor, and my computing (built a community site as a hobby). Then, they flipped!
I think this is what I’m to do…combine my love with my work. Lucky me! Yes, I am lucky…see, I get paid when one falls thru, and has over the years.
