Posted in What? on November 19th, 2008

Well today, I was out on the Mary Avenue Footbridge in Cupertino. Shooting I what they call a vibration testing and I was part of the group just to try to shake the bridge…that was fun.

My PayPal 30-second credit card application ended after five minutes…

Posted in What? on November 9th, 2008

My PayPal 30-second credit card application ended after five minutes…
1) I called the number; 2) I used the option for the credit card (No, I didn’t listen all the main menu’s options); 3) Then, the IVR menu didn’t have the option to get back to the main/entry menu; 4) ended up pressing #, 0 and * until the IVR directed me to a live person who ended up putting me on hold then came back to route my call to a Credit Specialist, and that routing ended up just ringing and ringing for a whole minute at the point I hung up….FIVE MINUTES is not 30 seconds.

He tells other “We Love to Hate”

Posted in What? on November 3rd, 2008

A young man stands on the SW corner of De Anza Blvd. and Stevens Creek
Blvd. in Cupertino (California).  He stands alone with his home-made
sign, “We love to hate”, while pro-Proposition 8 stand countering a
lone man’s efforts from across the street.  He states he was confronted
by someone in the Yes on 8 group and has a broken camera to show for
it, yet he stays his course and talks to supporters of his cause as
noon-time traffic, some honking, drive by.
