Bad URLs in your HTML code prevented the banner from loading successfully.

You can get this error if you published a banner on your disk and then uploaded the banner files manually, or with your web site editor. Chances are that either your HTML code or banner file (bz.js) still make reference to content that is on your disk.

E-mail should be nearly instaneous!

Posted in Computing, General, What? on January 14th, 2010
I get very frustrated with sites that take more than five (5) minutes to send you items like your lost username, password, and software licenses (if they do it this way).

When you ask for these items from websites, you are ON their site at that time, so you should receive it, then!  I can be seen clicking on my (send/receive) icon for my e-mail client to get the latest, greatest e-mails.  I’ve been waiting, now, for four (4) minutes after landing on a page that states “License Codes Sent!”.  I was sent to the developer’s website from the application, too!

Come on, folks!  If your web script can find my credentials in miliseconds, and the response is to tell me the code I want has been sent, you can make sure it was sent!

Hmm, this popped up on Lifehacker.org site…still not sure, but maybe the filmmakers released these into the Public Domain?

FreeDocumentaries is a large repository of documentary films that have been released by their respective copyright owners for public display.
