“Apple said Snow Leopard is half the size of the previous version, freeing up to 7 gigabytes of drive space when installed. It requires a minimum of 1 gigabyte of RAM and runs on Macs using an Intel processor.”
It’s that last sentence which is the motivator for all the hard core and private developers using Macs to dump their old systems! Man, I was just considering adding the MacBook Air to my active hardware, but now I may need to dump my G5 Dual-Motorola Processor tower (will my video cards still work? I have three monitors!).

Well, upgrading to the new FinalCut Studio requires a Mac with the newer Intel processor…so that tips the decision scale to…TIME TO BUY A NEW TOWER! (…and my bank accounts looked so good with all that money! Maybe, I have to do some side jobs—why am I NOT already?)
