Bad URLs in your HTML code prevented the banner from loading successfully.

You can get this error if you published a banner on your disk and then uploaded the banner files manually, or with your web site editor. Chances are that either your HTML code or banner file (bz.js) still make reference to content that is on your disk.

We apologize: the server is temporarily unavailable…for weeks, now!

FIA Card Services (Now owned by Bank of America?) has delivered this page to me for several weeks when I want to view my statement.  Since they don’t offer an email address to contact them or a fax number, I can’t get this to them except by actually calling their customer support which takes five to 10 minutes, and industry standard.  An email address or fax number is faster, for me, and I would not have to go through the agent’s training of the three steps of authentication…name, account number, and “Where were you born” or “What is your mother’s maiden name?”

Remember when the routine was that you had to have a postmaster email account (and others may remember or think they did, that you needed to have someone checking the root account’s email address!

Been working real hard…but is it really ‘work’?

Posted in What? on November 24th, 2008

Well, I combined more of what I like and wasn’t quite sure if I was really good enough…
I went out and shot photos of co-workers in the various departments while they worked.  I was tasked to create header (banner) graphics for our soon-to-rollout overhauled website.  It is quite rewarding when it comes together, and quite a challenge when it takes too many hours to get something close…

Mindjet

Posted in What? on November 24th, 2008

My boss just invited me into Mindjet (http://www.mindjet.com):
Mindjet’s technology for dynamic, visual thinking captures, arranges and relates free-form information in a multi-dimensional space. It goes far beyond an everyday outline or the confines of a sheet of paper. In tech-speak, it’s software that brings thoughts and ideas to life on an intuitive, interactive dashboard.

We’ve been looking for a web-based too that provides collaboration, project management, and google docs-like tools.  When (and even before) I came aboard, I installed SugarCRM (they are based in Cupertino, too!).

I was supposed to shoot the test…

Posted in What? on November 19th, 2008

Well today, I was out on the Mary Avenue Footbridge in Cupertino. Shooting I what they call a vibration testing and I was part of the group just to try to shake the bridge…that was fun.
