iPhone updater v1.1.1 … killed my customizations!
Posted in What? on September 29th, 2007Man!I had installed Nullriver’s App Tapp installer for my firmware rev. 1.0.2. It had allowed me to telnet into my websites, type up notes in TextEdit, play the loaded games (not via the web!) when I had some down time, add a nice theme created by developers, and MORE!But, I was prompted to download the latest iPhone updater, and I decided to wait. I should have stayed with that decision when the next day I was prompted with that message, again, when I opened iTunes.
- I should have backed up my iphone before the update
- I should have backed up my iphone before the update
- I should have backed up my iphone before the update
- I should NOT have updated to the latest!
, and
Now, I’m in the hunt to find a reverter!

 [Update]Â
I found a few routines and files to downgrade my iPhone, but they had an ounce of possibility to render my phone brainless, so I opt’d to not change anything. Â At least, iToner came out with a new revision and I can still add custom ring tones!Â
